Communication among scientists is vital to gaining knowledge that leads to scientific breakthroughs. While print articles are essential within the scientific community, real interaction and collaboration happen when researchers visit their peers’ institutions to talk face-to-face about their work. Our Research Forum series not only brings well known scientists to OMRF, it makes our institution and its accomplishments known to them. By sharing research results, fostering interactive dialogue and asking key questions, scientists forge relationships that can lead to breakthroughs in the laboratory.
