The Merrick Foundation has long supported research and education at the Oklahoma Medical
Research Foundation. OMRF board member Elizabeth Merrick Coe and her brother, Ward S. Merrick, Jr.,
established the Merrick Award to encourage and recognize outstanding young medical researchers at OMRF.
