Established in 1991 by Edward L. and Thelma Gaylord, the Gaylord Prize represents an accolade for outstanding accomplishment in the field of biomedical research.  Recipients of the Gaylord Prize exemplify excellence in their realm of research and have made impressive discoveries in their respective areas of scientific endeavor.
