Eligibility

To apply for a Fleming Scholarship, you MUST be:

• (Or were) an Oklahoma resident at the time of high school graduation.

• At least 16 years of age.

• Classified as a high school senior or as a college freshman, sophomore or junior at the time of application.

• A citizen or permanent resident of the United States or have unrestricted employment authorization in accordance with applicable Immigration and Naturalization Service regulations. (Example: J-2 with Employment Authorization Document) Applicants with an H-4 visa are not eligible to apply

• Willing to commit to the program's eight-week time frame, which begins the first Sunday following Memorial Day

Scholars are selected based on academic standing and aptitude in science and math, as well as recommendations from teachers, principals and counselors, and essays written as part of the application procedure.
