Training: All users must take a one-day training course which includes a review of the principles of SPR followed by running a few experiments on the instrument.  Reagents for the training will be provided.  Users are required to bring their own pipettes and tips.  Cost of training is ~$300.

The core facility provides access to a Biacore 3000 instrument.  The per diem cost of using this instrument is $120 for academic users and $160 for non-academic users.

Minimal supply costs for a pilot experiment will include at least the price of one chip and the appropriate coupling reagents.  The core facility provides start-up reagents.  Cost of chips and reagents will vary depending on individual needs.  Please inquire with Dr. Padmaja Mehta-D’Souza for specific details.
